Together, pyrrhotite and pyrite therefore comprise almost half of sulphides in the concentrate. Recovery of nickel from feed to concentrate in these two minerals is between 76% and 82% and their low nickel content places a restriction on increasing concentrate grade. Mineralogy limits concentrate grade to 7–8% Ni and 5–6% Cu.
